The members of the National Committee of the Communications, Informatics and Electronics Union approved on Wednesday in Havana, to release Marisol Fuentes Ferrer, who was promoted to a higher management position, from the position of general secretary of that organization.

Ulises Guilarte Guilarte de Nacimiento presided over the meeting in which those who were present highlighted the merits and the outstanding work performed by the leader, who is also a member of the Central Committee of the Party.

The member of the Political Bureau gave Marisol Fuentes Ferrer the 80th anniversary seal of the founding of the CTC, which is awarded to outstanding workers and prominent personalities.
