On November 8, the 10th edition of the regional event Accessible Americas 2023 began in Cuba. It’s a regional platform to join efforts to close the digital gap in the Americas region: challenges, opportunities and impact.

The first work session addressed the topic related to the 10 years of work related to inclusion and accessibility to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as a means to ensure digital inclusion.

Accessible Americas - Information and Communication Technologies for All - is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Ministry of Communications of Cuba and will be in session until Friday, November 10, in Varadero, Cuba.

Digital transformation and accessibility in their environments: digital inclusion for the improvement of the social welfare of all, are some other topics that will be part of Accessible Americas.
