On January 10, the workers of the Ministry of Communications were part of an especial morning event dedicated to the 61st anniversary of the arrival of the Freedom Caravan in Havana and the 91st anniversary of the assassination of the student leader Julio Antonio Mella.

Both events were commemorated with the screening of two audiovisuals associated with the life and work of Julio Antonio Mella and the victorious entry into Havana of the Freedom Caravan. The film also commemorates the young revolutionary Julio Antonio Mella, who was viciously murdered by Gerardo Machado's lackeys.

The occasion was an opportunity for the General Secretary of the Trade Union Bureau, Yanet Toledo Ruiz, to introduce the newly hired workers to whom I wish success in their work at the Ministry and many congratulations.
The context made it possible to congratulate the workers who are celebrating their birthdays this month.

A special moment was the presentation of the new Manual of Visual Identity and Applications of the Ministry of Communications.
The morning session was chaired by the Minister of Communications, Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella.
Other participants were the Vice Ministers, General, and Ministerial Directors; the General Secretary of the Party Committee, the General Secretary of the Young Communist League of Cuba and members of the Trade Union Bureau; as well as the workers of the Central Body and the UAS.
