From November 26 to 28, Joven Club will be developing the 14th edition of InfoClub 2019.  The biennial event will be held at the Palacio Central de la Computación (Central Computer Science Palace) in Havana.

Since its very beginning, this event intends to promote the exchange, dissemination, and exhibition of proposals and experiences, throughout the national territory, regarding the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

During these days, we will have conferences and workshops given by personalities from the fields of computer science and communication:
Lecture: "Educational robotics in Cuba", given by Dr. Ivón Oristela Benítez González.

Lecture: "Blockchain and Cryptocurrency", given by MSc. (Mathematics) Alexis Masso Muñoz.

Workshop: "Impact of social networks on information and communication technologies", given by Iroel Sánchez.

A total of seventy papers were received this year, grouped into eight committees:
1. Attention to social sectors
2. Citizen attention, consumer protection, and perceived quality
3. Virtualization of educational processes
4. ICT and electronics in the training process
5. Apps for mobile devices
6. IT Solutions
7. Technical solutions through electronics
8. Content management in the Internet

On Thursday, November 28 at 2:30 pm, in the same scenario, the results of InfoClub 2019 will be given, in which each committee chooses the best work and then grants a Grand Prize. The award criteria are related to the impact, precision, innovation, and importance of the execution of the project for Joven Club and the process of computerization of Cuban society.
