Cuba celebra este 2 de diciembre el Día de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias (FAR), y el aniversario 68 del desembarco del yate Granma que inició la lucha guerrillera contra la dictadura de Fulgencio Batista (1952-1959).

El 2 de diciembre de 1956, 82 expedicionarios liderados por Fidel Castro tocaron tierra de la zona oriental cubana tras zarpar el 25 de noviembre desde el puerto mexicano de Tuxpan.
¡Muchas felicidades a los combatientes de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias en su día, en especial a los Comunicadores de las FAR! ¡Gloria eterna a los expedicionarios del Yate Granma!
