El encuentro estuvo presidido por Teresa Amarelle Bou, secretaria general de la Federación de Mujeres Cubanas y Mayra Arevich Marín, ministra de Comunicaciones.

Participaron viceministros de comunicaciones y trabajadores del órgano central.

El Día Naranja se celebra en Cuba el día 25 de cada mes, es un recordatorio para tomar medidas y concientizar contra la violencia hacia mujeres y niñas, y de género.
