En el marco de la XVIII edición de la Convención y Feria Internacional Informática 2022 se encontraron Mayra Arevich Marín, ministra de Comunicaciones de Cuba, y Maryleana Méndez Jiménez, Secretaria General de la Asociación Interamericana de Empresas de Telecomunicaciones (ASIET).

En el encuentro se abordaron temas de desarrollo de las telecomunicaciones y se mostraron convencidas sobre la importancia de consolidar el intercambio de las potencialidades de ambas partes, en pos de trabajar "Juntos por la transformación digital" .
