Este 15 de diciembre de 2021 tuvo lugar la reunión bilateral entre la Oficina Regional para las Américas de la Unión Internacional de Telecomunicaciones (UIT) y el Ministerio de Comunicaciones de Cuba.

En el encuentro de trabajo se realizó el informe sobre el evento internacional América Accesible 2021 y se discutieron esfuerzos conjuntos y oportunidades de colaboración hacia 2022.

América Accesible: “Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación para Todos”, se realizó en Varadero, Cuba, del 29 de noviembre al 1 de diciembre de 2021. Este evento fue organizado por la Oficina de Desarrollo de las Telecomunicaciones (BDT) de la Unión Internacional de Telecomunicaciones (UIT), en estrecha colaboración con el Ministerio de Comunicaciones de la República de Cuba.
