Cuba, hoy 17 de junio rinde merecido homenaje al Generalísimo Máximo Gómez, luchador independentista de origen dominicano que alcanzó el grado de general en jefe en las luchas de liberación de la isla.

La ministra de Comunicaciones, Mayra Arevich Marín, en su cuenta oficial en Twitter expresó: En el 116 aniversario del fallecimiento del Generalísimo #MáximoGómez nuestro homenaje al gran jefe militar; el pueblo cubano le extiende sobradas muestras de gratitud, respeto y cariño #SomosContinuidad
