La integrante del Buró Político y del Secretariado del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de Cuba (PCC) Lázara Mercedes López Acea, realizó una visita a la Empresa Productora de Software para la Técnica Electrónica Softel, una de las Empresas del Grupo Empresarial de la Informática y las Cpmunicaciones (GEIC)

En el encuentro pudo apreciar el quehacer y compromiso de sus 96 trabajadores por la informatización de la sociedad cubana.

La Historia Clínica Electrónica, el software Galen Clínicas, el proyecto de la solución de la Telemedicina sobre todo de cara a la exportación, la informatización de los registros internos del Ministerio de Salud Pública de Cuba y el trabajo desarrollado para la informatización de la Red de Bancos de Sangre y policlínicos fueron algunos de los temas tratados.

La dirigente del PCC transmitió una felicitación por los esfuerzos desplegados por el colectivo.
