Level 3 y Emcali inauguraron el Cable Submarino del Pacífico

Level 3 y la colombiana Empresas Municipales de Cali (Emcali) anunciaron el inicio de operaciones del Cable Submarino del Pacífico, de acuerdo a un reporte del periódico local El País.

El objetivo del operador es aumentar la cantidad de usuarios de banda ancha e IPTV de los 86.000 y 15.000 actuales a 110.000 y 20.000 al cierre del año, respectivamente.

El 90 por ciento de estos clientes ya fueron migrados a la infraestructura. A la fecha, se construyeron 102 de los 137 kilómetros en canales y cableados necesarios para la concreción de la obra.
