SK Telecom lanzó una plataforma IoT basado en oneM2M

SK Telecom lanzó hoy ThingPlug, una plataforma abierta para Internet de las cosas (IoT), basada en los estándares del Release 1 de oneM2M, para ayudar al desarrollo y uso de servicios IoT.

ThingPlug ofrece una plataforma de funciones y un ambiente de desarrollo “hazlo tu mismo” (DIY, do it yourself) para que los desarrolladores puedan crear nuevos servicios IoT por su cuenta. El desarrollo se puede realizar descargando el software development kit del sitio web de ThingPlug y combinándolo con los dispositivos.

La compañía tiene previsto aplicar ThingPlug para el test de Smart city que se realizará en Busan, Corea del Sur, a finales de año. En cooperación con el gobierno de la ciudad, SK Telecom prevé actualizar servicios de estacionamiento, gestión de energía y servicios sociales hacia soluciones IoT.
