The Postal Agent provides basic postal services, and added value services in rural zones, and places of difficult accessibility that are often far from post offices. These workers also distribute the press and other publications to every corner of the country.

The Correos de Cuba Business Group (GECC), is the operator that was designated by our Ministry to guarantee these services. The GECC negotiates the contracts with the Postal Agents, supported by the 606 Ministerial Resolution which is in force since October 30th, 2014 for this specific variant of non-governmental work.
