Dr. Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella [1]

He graduated in Havana, from the “José Antonio Echeverría” Superior Polytechnic Institute as an Electronics Engineer. He entered the doctorate degree program of the University Of Applied Sciences Of Münster, Germany in the field of Microelectronics. In 1999, he obtained the title of Doctor in Technical Sciences; he was also awarded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for his post-doctoral research at the University of Westfälische Wilhelms, in Münster, Germany.
In 2009 and 2012, he received a Public Administration Diploma, and a National Security and Defense Diploma from the Postgraduate School for Government and State Officials and the National Defense Academy respectively.
He was a member of the Electronics and Telecommunications Doctorate Degree Tribunal of the National Commission for Scientific Degrees of the Ministry of Higher Education. He also took over several positions like Vice Dean, Dean, and Research Director of the Computer Science university, and Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Microelectronics Research Center of the “José Antonio Echeverría” Superior Polytechnic Institute.
Dr.Sc. Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella was previously appointed First Vice Minister, and prior to that, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Communications. In the past, he was also a member of the Managerial Council of the Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA).
