Graduated from the "Jose Marti" Military Technological Institute as a Mechanical Engineer. Her professional work was linked to the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces until 1993, later joining as an information professional in the Information Center for Defense, the Center for Documentation and Pedagogical Information, the DISAIC Consulting House of the former Ministry of Iron, Steel, and Heavy Machinery, the Information Consultancy DELFOS of the Ministry of IT and Communications, and as Director of Information Management at the Ministry of Communications itself, based on the improvement of the organization.

She was appointed as General Director of Organization, Planning and Information at the Ministry of Communications, being responsible of managing and controlling the fulfillment of the implementation of State policies related to organizational development, human resources management, training and professional development, information management, and planning of objectives and activities.

This organization and information sciences professional, has specialized in Business Intelligence at the Higher Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology (2004-2006), and previous to that she attended a Librarianship Technical Course on documentary techniques at the "Fulgencio Oroz" Polytechnic Institute (1998-2001).
